The town of Sedgwick, Maine, currently leads the pack as far as food sovereignty is concerned. Local residents recently voted unanimously at a town hall meeting to pass an ordinance that reinforces its citizens' God-given rights to "produce, process, sell, purchase, and consume local foods of their choosing," which includes even state- and federally-restricted foods like raw milk.

Small Arizona Town In Furor After 2nd Citizen Arrested For Speaking At Town Meeting

The town of Quartzsite, AZ, population 3,466, is in disarray after a video showing police hauling away a citizen for speaking at the town meeting podium went viral. The woman was saying that the town council had been violating open meeting laws.

The organization "Anonymous" is currently in the process of raising the funds to purchase an entire town. According to information on the site listed in the URL, the town up for sale is Scenic, SD, for the price of $700,000.00. Based off of information gleemed from the website, this movement seems to be growing leaps and bounds day by day. Leaders in the organization are currently searching for alternative energy grants, donors, and, of course, donations which could lead to business and property developments. Speaking my opinion, I will be following this story closely as it develops.

Jessica and her family moved a to rural homestead in hopes of raising food for her kids who have extreme food allergies. After receiving a verbal okay from the township allowing livestock animals such as chickens and goats she purchased a plot of land outside of the town Williamstown, MI. Now, the town is informing her that she has violated zoning laws and to remove her animals. She is fighting back for her family against the town and has a pretty detailed story above.

As courts and bureaucrats continue to assert that citizens have no fundamental right to produce and consume the foods of their choice, we find Monsanto lurking nearby. The Wisconsin judge who recently ruled that we have no right to own a cow or drink its milk resigned to join one of Monsanto’s law firms.

That's right. A Judge in Wisconsin said so...
“no, Plaintiffs do not have a fundamental right to own and use a dairy cow or a dairy herd;”
“no, Plaintiffs do not have a fundamental right to consume the milk from their own cow;”
“no, Plaintiffs do not have a fundamental right to produce and consume the foods of their choice”

The town of Vernon, NJ removed the entire corrupt town government. Sadly they choose a different style of town government instead of opting for true freedom.
