EL PASO, Texas — A U.S. Border Patrol agent shot and killed a 14-year-old boy after a confrontation at an international bridge near downtown El Paso, Mexican authorities said Tuesday.

Chihuahua State officials released a statement Tuesday demanding a full investigation into the death of the boy, identified as Sergio Adrian Hernandez Huereca....

Chihuahua state is the scene of a bloody struggle between drug cartels fighting for control of the lucrative trade in cocaine, mainly to the United States.

A Highland County, Ohio woman reported that Greenfield Police showed up at her residence at midnight Thursday night in response to a complaint filed by a neighbor that there was a dog at that address that was suffering. The woman alleges that Patrolman Leeth, Badge #7, then proceeded to shoot the dog without provocation. Mrs. Whitley reported that the dog was resting comfortably when the officer shot once, then when she noticed that Ginger was still breathing after 10 minutes had passed, he shot her a second time, in full view of the owners.

Allegations about official complicity in the drug business are nothing new when they come from activists, professors, campaigners or even former officials. However, an official spokesman for the authorities in one of Mexico's most violent states - one which directly borders Texas - going on the record with such accusations is unique.

The deputy kicked Slyder, according to the complaint, causing the dog to run back toward his owner--"tail between his legs, not charging Lamens or Maddox or any other officer." Nevertheless, the complaint says, Lamens followed Slyder and shot the dog three times, killing him.

It’s becoming way too commonplace. Last week, a pet Newfoundland in Des Moines, Wash., was shot four times — yes, four times — by a police officer who had tried and failed to wrangle the 115-pound dog, who had gotten out of her yard. Her name was Rosie. She was 2. She joins Gloria, the arthritic, 11-year-old yellow Lab police shot to death in her own backyard last month in Oakland, Calif.

Police attempt yet another cover up....this time after shooting a sleeping 7yr old girl. If you or I "accidently" shot and killed a child while forcing our way into someone's home, I'm guessing we'd be in jail. Cop says grandmother caused him to discharge firearm, victims claim the gun was shot from outside and ....these cops are CRAZY!!!

Relations between the King County Sheriff's Office and the state Department of Corrections have been strained by the shooting of Dustin Theoharis, who last winter was shot multiple times, survived and plans to bring a civil suit.
The incident occurred inside an Auburn-area house Feb. 11. The man who was shot, Dustin Theoharis, now 29, survived multiple wounds to his arms, legs, torso and jaw, including fractures that required a series of surgeries.

"He is thankful to be alive, but he has a long way to go to recover," said his attorney, Erik Heipt, of Seattle.
