So this kid is playing Call of Duty, and then the S.W.A.T show up thinking there’s really a gunman in his house. No, this isn’t some kind of ad campaign showcasing how ‘realistic’ the game is - this is something that actually happened.

Baltimore, MD: Tyrone Brown, a 32-year-old former Marine from East Baltimore, was out with his sister and her friend enjoying the Mount Vernon club scene early Saturday when he may have taken one of his trademark jokes too far. Glancing at a woman in an alley off East Eager Street, he put his hands on her behind.

The officer who was shot at was working an off-duty detail at the time, but police said she was in a marked cruiser and in uniform.

"He ordered two slices," said Sam Karia, a witness. "He was buggin' out on the phone. Actually someone heard him crying on the phone to somebody."

A state bill aiming to give residents limited rights to resist police officers who enter their homes illegally was passed by the Indiana House of Representatives on Thursday with several amendments.
The bill is a direct response to the Indiana Supreme Court decision in Barnes v. State of Indiana.
The state’s highest court ruled that a citizen never has the right to resist an officer in pursuit of an investigation. But state lawmakers disagree.

This type of thing is happening so frequently I wonder if/worry that they'll stop getting coverage at all. That certainly seems to be the case in the mainstream media, where coverage of this incident was sparse.
