The good news is electronic cigarettes can not be banned as they have just received "legal" classification as a tobacco product. On the other hand, I've been in this business for well over 3 years and have followed the industry closely through online vaping forums, customer feedback, press releases, court dockets, phony FDA studies, legitimate industry studies, and, surprisingly, somewhat balanced media coverage, and not once has any evidence been produced that the products produced by this completely unregulated industry pose any significant danger to the health of electronic cigarette users (aside from the bogus 2009 FDA report*), and certainly not when compared to the risks of the inhalation of combusted tobacco.
