A Connecticut woman found herself stuck in traffic on her way to the delivery room, thanks to a Plainville PD DUI checkpoint. When Mrs. Hairston began going into labor, officers attempted to call for an ambulance, but were advised that help was 10 minutes away at least--a result of the delay that they themselves had created.

Thankfully, baby Christian was born healthy, but he and his mother could've easily become the latest casualties in these all-to-common violations of the Fourth Amendment.
