WASHINGTON — A Justice Department investigation has found that FBI agents, including several supervisors, cheated on an important test covering the bureau’s policies for conducting surveillance on Americans.

Former Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) agents are helping local authorities turn thousands of garbage collectors into a spy force that reports to the police. Critics say the program is an example of how the United States is turning into an East German-style informant society.

The Liberty Amendment will give back to the Constitution its full force and effect in limiting the powers and activities of the Federal Government and restoring those powers reserved to the States and to the people. The Liberty Amendment, proposed, could become the 28th Amendment to the Constitution.

During his time as an informant the FBI involved Monteilh in a plan to present himself as a Muslim man seeking potential wives. He approached the FBI agents on the case and asked "If there's a potential sexual encounter what do you want me to do?" The agents said to go ahead with the sexual interactions. After learning more about the women's potential "terrorist" connections the FBI would confront the women with recordings of their sexual encounters to frighten them into giving them actionable intelligence.

A Senate proposal touted as protecting Americans' e-mail privacy has been quietly rewritten, giving government agencies more surveillance power than they possess under current law, CNET has learned. [The] rewritten bill would allow more than 22 agencies -- including the Securities and Exchange Commission and the Federal Communications Commission -- to access Americans' e-mail, Google Docs files, Facebook wall posts, and Twitter direct messages without a search warrant.
