A followup on Emily Good, the woman who was arrested for video-recording a police stop from her front yard: during a neighborhood meeting in support of Ms Good, Rochester Police came out with a ruler and measured the parking-distance of the attendees' cars.

Oceanside, CA Police Officer stops open-carry, freedom to record advocate and... actually acts like a civilized human being. Not enough to convince me that we aren't living in a police state, but I think it's worth giving this cop some credit. He allows the open-carry, he almost encourages this guy's right to record the interaction. I'm concerned that guys like this might be making all the rest look good!
Note: It is legal in the state of California to open-carry a firearm as long as it is not loaded.

A Massachusetts State Police trooper and Army war hero was arrested after a chaotic scene unfolded early yesterday morning when he allegedly drove drunk and crashed his car on his Dorchester street, pointed a gun at an off-duty Boston police officer, and then ran into his house and fired his gun into a ceiling. He came outside and was wrestled to the ground by responding officers.

Dear Liberty Community / Activists, I'd like/need your help. I recently wrote a letter about America being a police state which got good play on Northern California's #1 radio show. I've been contacted by them and told that if I can come up with a much larger list, they will "...post it and promote the hell out of it!"

So, I'd like to make a 101 list in the style of my original letter.

A police sergeant in Santa Fe, New Mexico is in a bad situation after a video caught him masturbating while he was on duty. The video has recently been released and it was filmed by the dashboard camera of the officer’s cruiser. The video released to the media does not show the inside of the cruiser but has audio that is quite steamy. The officer in question is Sgt. Mike Eiskant.
