A lawsuit was recently filed seeking damages against the Bradenton Beach Police Department after a former patrol officer made a felony battery arrest on a 14-year-old boy who blew a kiss at him.

(CBS/WFOR) MIAMI - North Miami Beach Police are piecing together an officer-involved shooting and killing of a mentally disabled man. The man was originally thought to be carrying a gun but it was later determined to be a toy rifle.

A14 year old kid was fighting at a bus stop. When officer Alvarado approached the bus stop, the 14 year old ran away. The police officer was not going to allow someone as dangerous as a 14 year old kid to roam the streets so he chased the kid down and shot him (killing him in the process)

A New Orleans police officer was laughing after he burned the body of a man who had been gunned down by police in Hurricane Katrina's aftermath, a fellow officer testified Thursday.

The testimony came during the trial of officer Greg McRae and Lt. Dwayne Scheuermann, who are charged with burning the body of 31-year-old Henry Glover in a car after he was shot and killed by a different officer outside a strip mall on Sept. 2, 2005. Three other current and former officers also are charged in Glover's death.

Former Palm Beach County Deputy Mark Dougan was a law enforcement officer that upheld the oath he took to support and defend the Constitution of the State of Florida and the United States. That’s why, according to Dougan, “all hell broke loose” when he refused an order to commit felony misconduct. Dougan soon resigned.
