This is in response to Libertarian Party Policies (September 2nd, 2006).

While I respect its inherent disdain for our wasteful and corrupt two-party system, Libertarianism has got to be one of the most short-sighted political ideologies in history.

The Libertarian Party has done it again.

In Las Vegas this weekend, Libertarian Party national delegates nominated former New Mexico governor Gary Johnson as their representative to challenge Barack Obama for the Presidency, leaving Ron Paul as the only libertarian left in the race.

To say the least, those that truly believe in the non-aggression principle are disappointed with the third largest political party's choice to challenge the statist status quo.

This was a non-partisan race, but he is indeed a Libertarian according to the national Vice-Chairman of the Libertarian Party, Mark Rutherford

CLEARWATER, Fla. - The new law that requires proof of citizenship to get or renew your driver's license is an inconvenience to some of us, but one man in Pinellas County says it's a violation of his rights.
Adrian Wyllie, radio talk show host and chairman of the Libertarian Party of Florida refuses to provide the paperwork necessary to renew his expired license. He also refuses to stop driving.
"I believe I am in the position of right and the state needs to be correcte,d" said Wyllie.

On August 24-26th, the weekend before the Republican National Convention in Tampa, Florida, supporters of Ron Paul have organized the P.A.U.L. Festival (People Awakening and Uniting for Liberty) to celebrate and honor Paul's campaign, legacy, and libertarian message.

The event will feature speeches from many heavyweights in the libertarian movement, like Thomas Woods, Lew Rockwell, Scott Horton, Walter Block, Adam Kokesh, Peter Schiff, Gary Johnson, and many more. There will also be beer and entertainment, including music from libertarian bands and those who support Paul's message.
