The man, 20, was driving east on U.S. Highway 40 near Strawberry Reservoir when a deputy tried to stop him for going 15 miles over the speed limit, according to Wasatch County Chief Deputy Sheriff Jared Rigby. The driver did not stop and the deputy told dispatchers he was pursuing a fleeing driver. A short time later, a dispatcher notified the deputy that the driver had called in and said “that he was not going to stop and that I needed to leave him alone,” Rigby said, reading from the deputy's report.

Maricopa County Sheriff Joe Arpaio sat down at ABC15 to talk about the new changes by the Obama administration to stop deporting younger illegal immigrants. The announcement came in around 6:30 a.m. Friday that some illegal immigrants will be granted work permits if they meet certain requirements. "I think people from Mexico are now going to feel, 'Hey come on in and we'll get by with it.' But it won't happen in this county. They will still be arrested," Arpaio said.

A three-judge panel found that even if the officer observed no illegal conduct, a traffic stop and interrogation is justified when a driver seems not to want to be around a patrol car.

A Waterloo Iowa man is killed by police upon returning home from a night out. His wife did not appreciate the fact that he was drunk so called the police to ask him to sleep elsewhere. The couple was not engaged in a fight, she just wanted him to leave because she had to work in the morning. The encounter ended in bloodshed. The officer responsible for the death of the man has returned to duty.

“I walked up to his window and I said ‘Did you write this?’ and he said ‘I don’t know what you’re talking about.’ I’m like “Did you write this ticket? Because, you lied, there’s still time left on the meter. Come look at it.’ He refused to look at it and I asked him for his name. He said ‘Why do you want it?’ and I said ‘Because I’m going to have to put a stop to this,’” said Rapp.

The employee reported feeling threatened and called campus police, who arrested Rapp based on a university ordinance.

A14 year old kid was fighting at a bus stop. When officer Alvarado approached the bus stop, the 14 year old ran away. The police officer was not going to allow someone as dangerous as a 14 year old kid to roam the streets so he chased the kid down and shot him (killing him in the process)
