Ard unlocked the passenger side of his car and got something out. The object is light-colored and floppy, but isn't clearly visible.

Officer A.J. Givens said he saw something metallic at Henley's waistband as Henley was reaching for that area, so police gave more commands for him to stop. When he didn't stop, Givens fired eight times, police said.Henley was shot in the lower back and was taken to Shands Jacksonville Medical Center in critical but stable condition. Police said they did not find a gun but did find drugs on Henley.
