Seattle police officers bust down a man's door with guns drawn and toss his place. There were two pot plants inside, but more importantly, the guy was a registered medical marijuana patient fully within his rights to grow. Probable cause has yet to be established. Also of note, marijuana possession is, by law, the lowest priority for Seattle law enforcement.

Many of you may think of Vermont as the best state for 2nd Amendment rights being acknowledged- not anymore. Over 2 years ago the guy who runs the fleamarket in Newfane Vt had 5 or 6 fed goons LITERALLY strong-arm him. They told him he was NOT to allow any dealers to sell guns anymore, while one of them put a squeeze on his arm. He said they were FBI but there could have been BATF too. They scared him with the strong arming and a threat that he could be charged with some crime if he allows any more sales. They claimed that crimes occuring in Massachusetts etc.

Like some cancer patients in states where it’s allowed, Mykayla Comstock uses cannabis as part of her treatment. Comstock is seven-years old. Pot Shops Don’t Boost Teen Drug Use, Study Says

In the never-ending battle over medical marijuana, the latest flashpoints include a myth-busting study, a popular singer and legal twists in several states.

A provision of the Michigan medical marijuana law that prohibits police from seizing pot possessed by licensed medical marijuana patients is invalid because it conflicts with federal law, Attorney General Bill Schuette said in an opinion released Thursday, one in which he warns officers who return marijuana to patients that they could be prosecuted as dope dealers.

As the medical marijuana industry became more legitimate and businesses had the opportunity to profit, the number of MMCs in the state grew from under 50 to more than 1,000. With over 300 in Denver alone, there are more MMCs than Starbucks locations. "The medical marijuana program has generated an incredible amount of government revenue at a time when our state and localities are broke. It's brought in an incredible amount of sales tax and income tax. Vacant lots have been finding businesses," says Mike Elliott, the executive director of the Medical Marijuana Industry Group.

It seems they are ignoring the Tenth Amendment since marijuana is illegal federally...
