A great article hit my inbox from the Mises Daily today. It is about individual sovereignty by Helio Beltrao.

The article at one point uses The Matrix as analogy... that some individuals resist the herd and take the red pill -- waking to the reality that government is myth and that most people are obliviously perpetuating their serfdom by feeding the government beast.

This is nothing new, of course. Scumbag cops. Same story time and time again, but I'm sharing this because of a few lines written in here. The chief doesn't even try to sugar coat his meaning. Here, this sums it all up....

“Any dog owner would be upset and we understand that,” said Chief Skip Holbrook, Huntington Police Dept.

Chief Holbrook, says his officer had to make a split second decision and was justified in his actions.

An article detailing how cops regularly break the most basic traffic rules, according to AAA.

The original Volume 2 Article 6, Walter Block's "Reply to Prychitko on Austrian Dogmatism" that has since been removed from the Libertarian Papers web site. This is the article that the Mises Institute apparently doesn't want you to see.

This is an amazing article for us anti-government people to get behind. If you're an atheist I think you will still greatly appreciate it, but just ignore the Jewish stuff, this article is targeted to a Jewish audience.

The key point is that these folks used voluntarist means to fight child slavery and provide an education to the unwashed masses without the use of government. I'm sure you'll appreciate it.

Wow, it looks like they've finally identified the bad apples that were spoiling the whole bunch! Isn't it exciting? By this time next week, the police will be back to protecting and serving the public once more. Phew! I was worried that "we" were becomming a police state - but this article has set my mind at ease.
