What the hell is going on? I leave the country for a couple of weeks and when I get back there’s like 5 times the police abuse stories I’m used to. I generally try to handle the question with kid-gloves because I know for most people the term “Police State” triggers all kinds of cognitive dissonance and they’ll just stop listening. But it’s getting so bad, and so common, I’m starting to think we don’t have time for kid-gloves anymore. So, new approach. This time I’m not pulling punches. Just pure escalation.

Apparently living off the grid, off the land and without government assistance is now a crime that can land you in jail and cause you to lose your home.
Government officials across the country are forming so called “nuisance abatement teams” to intimidate people into giving up their land or conforming to the governments demands and hooking back into the grid. Counties across the country are actually jailing people for living the way they want to live.

"Country" is from "Terra Contrata" meaning a spread of land. It is a non-political term concerning the land, its people and their customs. "Nation" comes from "Natus" meaning that which is born and is the dominant racial subtext of a country's politics. "State" comes from "status" meaning condition/standing and is the political machinery of the Nation. A "Country" is a friend of liberty while the "Nation" and "State" are its enemy.

A gaunt 18-year-old Georgia man told California police his stepfather had banished him and sent him on a cross-country bus ride after the stepfather had confined him to a room for four years, authorities said. The confinement allegedly was so thorough, Mitch Comer's two younger sisters – living in the same home – hadn't seen the teen for the last two years. The teen's stepfather and mother were arrested in Dallas, Georgia, last week after a retired Los Angeles police officer found the teen wandering an L.A.
