Looks like only Ron Paul and Mitt Romney will be on the Virginia primary GOP ballot. I hope the CNN reporters ask Gingrich and Perry if they will consider 3rd party runs, seeing as how they are unelectable.

Will Ron Paul win more delegates this week than Gingrich, Santorum?

This week, Ron Paul is likely to win more delegates to the 2012 GOP convention than either Newt Gingrich or Rick Santorum. In fact, he’s likely to win more delegates than Gingrich and Santorum combined.

A Ron Paul supporter set up a spot at his precinct to show his support for his candidate. When Gingrich arrived and started looking for photo ops, his security felt the RP supporter had to move.

I’ve always liked the feisty tone Newt Gingrich brings to debate.

I like it. And maybe that’s the problem. A Blaze correspondent suggests this:

Why is the GOP Establishment so scared of a Ron Paul nomination? Romney has it in the bag, Dr. Paul doesn't have a hope in hell. The conventional wisdom is they want to present the party 100% behind Romney. Gee, would acknowledging there was some competition for the job be that damaging? By sabotaging the Paul campaign throughout the process they exposed themselves as corrupt. If they played by the GOP rules with Ron Paul, there would be a minor contest, Romney would still have won, and most of the the Republican rank and file would fall in behind Romney.

Yeah, unless he's one of them. He's asking VA lawmakers to change the law so he can be a write-in candidate...
