An attorney who represented prisoners detained at Guantanamo Bay was found dead last week in what sources said was a suicide.
Andy P. Hart, 38, a federal public defender in Toledo, Ohio, apparently died of a self-inflicted gunshot wound. Hart left behind a suicide note and a thumb drive, believed to contain his case files. It is unknown where Hart died, what the suicide note said or whether an autopsy was performed.

I was very excited when I first hear about Diaspora, which in my mind would have been a great alternative to the evil empire that is known as Big Brother, ahem, I mean Facebook which is a CIA front (most people know this by now). I dreamed of an opensource social networking type that gave its users more power. If Diaspora caught on and was easy to use, it could possibly have been a threat to Facebook considering that many people are becoming disillusioned with big government and the complete end to privacy.

The Pentagon says there have been at least 154 suicides among active-duty troops in 2012, a rate of nearly one each day.

Cincinnati police said they are investigating after a mother and her two children were found walking naked along a street on Monday night.
