FITCHBURG (CBS) – It’s going to be a while before things get back to normal for Judy Sanchez and her three-year-old daughter.

Last Thursday, a team of FBI agents swarmed her apartment building as part of a massive citywide drug and weapons gang raid.

Trouble is, Sanchez lives in apartment 2R.

The suspect they were after is in 2F.

A St. Paul, Minnesota family claims in a lawsuit that police officers who conducted a wrong-door raid on their home shot their dog, and then forced their three handcuffed children to sit near the dead pet while officers ransacked the home. The lawsuit, which names Ramsey County, the Dakota County Drug Task Force, and the DEA, and asks for $30 million in civil rights violations and punitive damages after a wrong-door raid, also claims that the officers kicked the children and deprived one of them of her diabetes medication.

CEDARTOWN, Ga. - The daughter of a 76-year-old woman says her mother is hospitalized with a heart attack she suffered after drug agents who had the wrong address swarmed around her Polk County home.

A northern Indiana man whose wife committed suicide three days after Internal Revenue Service agents raided their home is suing the U.S. government for wrongful death. Denise Simon and her 10-year-old daughter were the only ones home when about 10 armed IRS agents raided their residence on Nov. 6, 2007.

Laura Benson of Union County, Illinois was shaken when drug agents rapidly swarmed her home. At first Benson thought her son might have done something wrong, but then she was surprised to hear that the agents were there to investigate a reported meth lab on the property

You may have been able to black out the horrific police raid in which a pit bull was shot to death and a 7-year-old boy was held at gunpoint, but Jonathan Whitworth and his family apparently can't. Whitworth is suing the city of Columbia and several police officers, claiming his family's constitutional rights were violated.

Salt Lake City Police Chief Chris Burbank has issued an apology after narcotics detectives raided the wrong home and pointed a gun at its 76-year-old female resident. Burbank said the woman was not injured when the search warrant was executed late Wednesday night, but one officer was placed on administrative leave pending the outcome of an internal investigation. "She's certainly had the event of a lifetime, and one that I am very sorry that she had to experience at all," Burbank said.
