Repeal the Drinking Age

Somehow, and no one seems to even imagine how, this country managed to survive and thrive before 1984 without a national minimum drinking age. Before that, the drinking question was left to the states.

Jon Stewart tries to figure out what hes allowed to put in his mouth as NY legislation proposes to criminalize soft drinks while de-criminalizing soft drugs...if all this proposed legislation goes through, it will kinda sorta be more acceptable to carry around a cupful of pot than a cupful of Coke.

Drinking with an empty stomach is a big no-no because it will lead to drunkenness more quickly. Start your night off right by simply eating the right food or by filling up your tummy. I assure you, there will be more drinking and less hurling!

The sheriff's report said around 10pm last Thursday Abaire entered the restaurant and asked for a drink of water.
A manager told police that staff handed him a courtesy cup, which he then filled up with soda from a fountain machine.

Los Angeles parks and libraries could soon be soda-free. - When Councilman Mitch Englander discovered that his daughter was unable to buy anything but sugar-packed sodas in a city park vending machine, he introduced a motion to ban them. Englander pitched his proposed soda ban at parks and libraries to the city's Arts, Parks, Health & Aging Committee on Tuesday, CBS reports. The council member, who serves as president of the local chapter of the American Diabetes Association, talked about how sugary sodas increase rates of childhood obesity and diabetes.
