A Des Moines police officer responding to reports of a man with a gun at the KCCI-TV studios mistakenly fired a shot at a KCCI news photographer who was trying to point out the suspect. The shot missed the photographer and no one was hurt.

Cole arrived to school Monday morning and reached behind the seat of his truck to get his book bag. He suddenly realized he'd accidentally left his shotgun in his vehicle after bring out fishing and shooting over the weekend and that it needed to be returned home immediately.

Afraid of getting in trouble for skipping class, Cole locked his truck, walked to the front office and called his mother to come and retrieve it, as he couldn't leave school; he would miss class.

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. (AP) -- A Florida toddler is in critical condition after being shot by police chasing a robbery suspect.

SPRING HILL - A Hernando County Sheriff's deputy is out of the hospital this morning after he was shot entering the home of a suspect Monday night.

The sheriff's SWAT team members returned fire and killed the suspect, whose name hasn't been released.

According to the video, the Aurora, CO police went so far to try to catch the suspect that the suspect might go free as the case could be throne out.

An Orlando police officer shot at an unarmed man with saggy pants during a confrontation last weekend because the cop thought the man was reaching for a gun. But the suspect said his belt broke and he was just trying to keep his pants from falling.

Kevin Lorenzo Brooks, 32, was charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon — even though he was unarmed — after the confrontation with the officer Saturday.

A Maryland man now faces up to five years in prison after he recorded his traffic stop last month in Harford County. Graber was speeding with his motorcycle with a camera attached to his helmet recording his ride.
