Well, well... I think we just proven that government isn't exactly needed for one more thing. Statists commence cold sweat.

I just found this on kickstarter and thought that many people here would be interested in helping this guy with his jury nullification outreach.

U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement reached its highest number yet of companies audited for undocumented immigrants on their payrolls this past fiscal year. Audits of employer I-9 forms increased from 250 in fiscal year 2007 to more than 3,000 in 2012. From fiscal years 2009 to 2012, the total amount of fines grew to nearly $13 million from $1 million. The number of company managers arrested has increased to 238, according to data provided by ICE.

Inspired by the Kony 2012 fad, a group of New York University grad students has set up the wartime version of Kickstarter, where random people can bankroll new weapons and new paramilitary missions. Among the offerings: an all-seeing drone armed with “a new kind of explosive” promising to cut down on civilian casualties, or a bus packed with a rolling “enhanced interrogation” center.

My activities may be more symbolic than not, but if 300 million people started sending private information to federal agents, the government would need to hire as many as another 300 million people, possibly more, to keep up with the information and we’d have to redesign our entire intelligence system.

Crowd-funding — raising money for research directly from the public — looks set to become increasingly common. Established platforms such as Kickstarter are wooing scientists. And similar websites dedicated to connecting scientists with potential funders are being built, or have already launched. The public seems to be responding. Last year, for example, a group of scientists wanting to map water quality along the Mississippi River raised $64,000 in a trial project on an online crowd-funding platform called the Open Source Science Project (OSSP).

SatochiDice posted a profit of 33,310 bitcoins between May 1, 2012 and December 31, 2012. At the current value of $18.20 per bitcoin, that’s a total profit of approximately $600,000. Over the next twelve months, the SatochiDice analysis estimates that the total profit over the next twelve months will total 50,596 bitcoins.

The 0.2-mil property tax for the Detroit Institute of Arts (DIA) passed by a huge margin in Metro Detroit's primary election. It will cost taxpayers with a homeowner's market value of $200,000 and a taxable value of $100,000 an additional $20 annually.

So I think I'll donate another 100 million dollars to the campaign I already donated 11 million to - that's not influencing...
