Municipal codes could be very lucrative for most municipalities if they were enforced...they decided to start enforcing one little-known regulation in Queens

Officials in Burnsville, Minn., have brought the full force of the law to bear upon Mitch Faber, who was arrested, forced to pay a high bail and released under electronic monitoring and only on condition of drug testing. Faber has been charged with the crime of not putting proper siding on his house.

Alabama's proposed immigration law has a provision that allows people to sue any police officer or bureaucrat whom that person believes is NOT enforcing the nazi immigration law. And they are relying on employers to find the 'illegals' too. Employers can only run a person through the everify once the person has been hired, and if that person then 'fails', no one is there to repay the employer for money lost (i.e. matching stolen social security money.) We can sue police for NOT enforcing one law, why not any other law? Also, why do they not want to be sued for enforcing the law as well.

A community in Florida has just decided to start enforcing something in their HOA regarding kids being outside without adults. They have effectively put these kids on house arrest for the next 8 years or so.

SANFORD, Fla.— A man who defied officials for more than 13 years by refusing to remove airplane parts and other junk from his yard was sentenced to three years in prison.

Alan Wayne Davis, 49, had been placed on house arrest in September after serving nearly a year in prison for illegal dumping and creating and maintaining a public nuisance.

On Monday, a judge sentenced Davis to three years in prison for violations of his house arrest, including failing to return home from work on time and keeping part of a World War II fighter plane in his yard.

Aren’t we known for saying, “If you’ve got nothing to hide, what are you worried about?” This same mentality should also apply to us. If we’re doing our job professionally and within the law, what’ve we got to worry about if someone’s filming us — especially if they’re doing so without getting in our way?
