This is a currently running thread on thethinblueline.com detailing how "professional courtesy" is extended to other cops, their families, firefighters, and other general groups of people. Very enlightening to see how entitled cops think they are. But it's for "your safety"...

This story comes via a "social media site for cops." The comments section is a trove of material for discussion. As I read through the posts, I couldn't help replaying in my mind how many times these cops say, "I'm just enforcing the law..." These comments give insight to how they really feel. You can see this in what some of them say about judges and their children as well as the law and how they believe it should be applied.

I'm surprised this law passed. The cops will probably ignore it, but at least that gives people a chance to get evidence thrown out. Then again, most peopel will likely just cave and give cops permission anyway.

This again comes via a social media site for cops, with lots of comments by other cops. It's pathetic and rife with remarkable quips. The big question is: What are the details of why the cops were called in the first place? The big lesson is: Get out of private property if the owner requests you do so, and run if the cops are called.

Cops arrest 2 guys and hold them in jail for 5 days for "drugs" that turned out to be candy. Oh yeah, it smelled like candy too, but neither a $0 sniff test or a $20 field test to determine the mens guilt or innocence was performed before they were sent off to jail.
