This is a currently running thread on thethinblueline.com detailing how "professional courtesy" is extended to other cops, their families, firefighters, and other general groups of people. Very enlightening to see how entitled cops think they are. But it's for "your safety"...

I wonder how many cops would be checking regulations to find something to charge her with.

This story comes via a "social media site for cops." The comments section is a trove of material for discussion. As I read through the posts, I couldn't help replaying in my mind how many times these cops say, "I'm just enforcing the law..." These comments give insight to how they really feel. You can see this in what some of them say about judges and their children as well as the law and how they believe it should be applied.

The big question is: What are the details of why the cops were called in the first place? The big lesson is: Get out of private property if the owner requests you do so, and run if the cops are called.
