The former vice principal at North Penn's Pennbrook Middle School is free on bail following his arrest Friday on charges that he allegedly engaged in inappropriate sexual conversations with a 13-year-old male student he befriended at the school.

This is the second incident of this type at a school district that held their community hostage with a teacher's strike just a year ago. They received what was considered a huge compensation package in order to "keep quality teachers." Some quality this guy shows.

WITI-TV, SHOREWOOD - Sharing or trading food during school lunchtime is not unheard of, but sharing landed one teenager in police handcuffs.

School officials have threatened a hearing-impaired girl with suspension if she uses sign language to talk to her friends on the school bus, the girl's parents say.

Danica Lesko and her parents say sign language is the only way to for the 12-year-old to communicate, especially while riding to school on a noisy bus.

The March 30 letter from her principal that said Danica was "doing sign language after being told it wasn't allowed on the bus."
