Part 1 of 3 - In a small tent in the middle of a rain storm at Porcfest, a group of the Liberty Movements heavy hitters quietly and discretely meet for a round table discussion for the No State Project. The LCL report was one of the lucky few that got to see it. This group included Premier liberty philosopher Stefan Molyneux from Free domain radio, Larken Rose an income tax freedom legend and author of the Iron Web, Marc Stevens from adventures in Legal land, Alex Knight from the Center for Stateless Society and Jim Davis from strike the root.

Did you know there was a freestyle rap competition at Porcfest this year? Liberty activist and professional agitator Mike Tiner hosted the first ever competition. It seems The liberty message is sinking into all forms of entertainment. The competition had all kinds of rappers about liberty issues but John Bush was the last man standing and winner of the competition. Here is his final rap. The Liberty Amendment

Liberty, freedom and sovereignty restored to all Americans

Individual liberty, freedom and sovereignty of the people will be restored in a representative republican form of government by clarifying the original spirit and intent of the Constitution. The Liberty Amendment will give back to the Constitution its full force and effect in limiting the powers and activities of the Federal Government and restoring those powers reserved to the States and to the people. The Liberty Amendment, proposed, could become the 28th Amendment to the Constitution.

According to the Dallas Morning News, on Monday afternoon a Fort Worth police officer used his Taser to subdue a 19-year-old man dressed as "Lady Liberty" when he refused to comply with an order. Liberty was allegedly standing on a median, soliciting customers for Liberty Tax Services. Attempting to gain control of [Liberty], the arresting officer shot him in the small of his back, which allegedly had no effect. He was tased a second time in the forehead and below his left ear before police could place him under arrest.

PorcFest is the annual Summer festival of the Free State Project, which is a movement of liberty activists all moving to New Hampshire to consolidate their efforts. At the screening of the film we’ll be giving out the Zoe Award for female liberty activism. Here are the details.

There is an axiom libertarians use to talk about government spending; that which is economically unsustainable cannot endure. This applies to liberty projects too. I’m concerned that if our liberty projects are sustained by irrational exuberance, and not by actual economic incentives, these projects, maybe the movement itself, is unsustainable without the zeal of converts, because eventually the enthusiasm bubble pops. So, I contacted the activists behind some of the liberty projects that I support to hear their thoughts on the subject.
