The National Police Misconduct Statistics and Reporting Project as started in 2009 as a method of recording and analyzing police misconduct in the US.
From 01/10 through 06/10 there were:
* 2,541 Unique reports of police misconduct cited.
* 3,240 Law enforcement officers cited in recorded police misconduct reports.
* 178 Of the law enforcement officers reported were departmental leaders, police chiefs, and sheriffs.
* 4,199 Alleged victims of police misconduct associated with these reports.
* 124 Fatalities associated with these reports.

Hudson -- A Sullivan Road resident called police to report a "suspicious package" on his front porch Nov. 2 at 3:20 p.m.

The resident said he observed an unknown person leave the package and called police, according to the police report.

The officer said he could see the package was clearly labeled with the Amazon.com logo and asked the man if he had ordered anything from the firm recently.

The man reportedly said "Why yes, I did."

Unlawful and deceptive police officers,and other governments are perpetuating an organized "racket" to harass local law abiding citizens through traffic enforcement. How these entities use traffic enforcement as a means to unlawfully "tax" citizens and generate revenue through traffic citations to make up for failing budgets. This is even more important now than ever because of the failing economy. I am a former police officer and police instructor and have been on the show before. What I know and talk about I know from the inside, first hand.

The police department says "the officer was just doing his job". Wow, this is how you protect and serve?! What is the police department if their job is preventing a stroke victim from seeking medical attention?!

Officer Salvatore Riveri, the Baltimore City police officer seen in a You Tube video berating a teenage skateboarder at the Inner Harbor, has been fired.

Police department spokesman Anthony Guglielmi told WBAL News that Rivieri has been "separated from the department," but he could not comment further because this is a personnel matter.

A group of Sydney police officers just how great they are. That rate is over two times the rate of the general public (28.7 per 100,000). The fact that rapists seem to be concentrated among a group of armed individuals who have the purported authority to detain and arrest other individuals, should be more than a little alarming for even the most prolific bootlicker.
