Over the past two years, the Minnesota Department of Agriculture has illegally raided Alvin’s van, warehouse, and farm resulting in the multiple charges that were decided upon in court last week. Technically, Alvin was guilty of breaking the laws in question, even though the laws are totally ridiculous and unjust.

SANFORD, Fla.— A man who defied officials for more than 13 years by refusing to remove airplane parts and other junk from his yard was sentenced to three years in prison.

Alan Wayne Davis, 49, had been placed on house arrest in September after serving nearly a year in prison for illegal dumping and creating and maintaining a public nuisance.

On Monday, a judge sentenced Davis to three years in prison for violations of his house arrest, including failing to return home from work on time and keeping part of a World War II fighter plane in his yard.

A rural Oregon man was sentenced Wednesday to 30 days in jail and over $1,500 in fines because he had three reservoirs on his property to collect and use rainwater. Gary Harrington of Eagle Point, Ore., says he plans to appeal his conviction in Jackson County (Ore.) Circuit Court on nine misdemeanor charges under a 1925 law for having what state water managers called “three illegal reservoirs” on his property – and for filling the reservoirs with rainwater and snow runoff.

In Andalusia, Alabama 16 people have entered guilty pleas for various crimes and offenses.

One of those people plead guilty to "sexually abusing an intellectually disabled female family member."
The judge and prosecutor agreed on a deal whereby he will serve one year in prison for raping an intellectually disabled female relative.

People are breaking laws without intent to break those laws, but persecutors no longer need to prove criminal intent. This article proves beyond a reasonable doubt that the old tenet of "Innocent until proven guilty" no longer applies in the so called "land of the free."

In western states, those who want to collect rainwater, even on their own land for their own personal consumption, is required to ask government permission and likely pay government licensing fees if or they are breaking the "LAW."
