First double amputee to compete in an athletics event at the Olympics

http://ca.news.yahoo.com

"...Oscar Pistorius made history on Saturday when he became the first double amputee to compete in an athletics event at the Olympics."

This is Bull S. "Pistorius said exhaustive tests had proved that running on blades gave him no advantage." To which I say "keep in mind that while Figures don't lie, but liars sometimes figure." If not this time, then they will sometime in the future.

The Olympics doesn't allow performance enhancing drugs or other tech. Not long from now we will be dealing with genetic engineered humans and gene therapy. This signals the end of any legitimacy for the Olympics. It will just be another (semi) reality Tee-Vee Show.
