Ocean City, MD is a town with alot of skateboarders that hosts the largest Mountain 'Dew Tour' Skateboarding event of the year. However try to skateboard or rollerblade to the event and you will be ticketed and fined by a 1972 ordinance. For about a week now, the legalization of skateboarding for OCMD has hit the web to bring the issue back to the Mayor and Council. There's no doubt ... Brian Mulligan -- an international banking honcho -- was beaten to a pulp by the LAPD -- based on photos obtained by TMZ.

Mulligan -- the Managing Director and Vice Chairman of Media for Deutsche Bank -- is unrecognizable in the pics -- with severe nasal fractures and lacerations, a concussion, a fractured right scapula, and numerous contusions and abrasions.

A St. Paul, Minnesota family claims in a lawsuit that police officers who conducted a wrong-door raid on their home shot their dog, and then forced their three handcuffed children to sit near the dead pet while officers ransacked the home. The lawsuit, which names Ramsey County, the Dakota County Drug Task Force, and the DEA, and asks for $30 million in civil rights violations and punitive damages after a wrong-door raid, also claims that the officers kicked the children and deprived one of them of her diabetes medication.

As part of a drug raid, the police broke into the wrong apartment. A single old man living in the apartment was immediately assaulted by 7 police officers as they proceeded to punch him, stomp his face then complain about his blood getting on their clothes.

They also felt a need to completely trash the apartment, then cover up the whole thing by denying ever going to the apartment.

“Teachers at a Skokie school forced a 6-year-old with a broken leg and a concussion to crawl back to his classroom across an icy playground, then failed to call for an ambulance...didn’t get any medical help until his mom came to get him...."

Shocking video has been released allegedly showing police officers tasering and beating a homeless man to death who they claim was resisting arrest. Though the video is not clear, eye witnesses say the homeless man - Kelly Thomas, 37 - was unable to put up any resistance and was lying on the ground on his front when the attack took place on July 5.

Christopher J. Micklovich, 32, said he suffered two broken eye sockets and a broken nose during an incident outside Strange Brew, 88 Market St., that resulted in his arrest on charges of simple assault, disorderly conduct, resisting arrest and criminal mischief.

Los Angeles police said Friday that they have arrested numerous people for chalking downtown in the weeks leading up to ArtWalk. Protesters organized a "Chalk Walk" during Thursday's monthly ArtWalk in downtown Los Angeles to "celebrate our right to free speech and remind the LAPD and the city of Los Angeles that chalking is NOT a crime." Los Angeles Police has been arresting people who have marked downtown with chalk. The chalkers have been targeting the area around the Central City Assn, as the "lobby group of the 1%," according to a handout distributed at ArtWalk.

A military veteran returned home after six years to witness the "freedom" he was protecting when he got on a bus near Los Angeles. He witnessed (and recorded) an encounter between police and a mentally handicapped resident wherein the police verbally abused the lady before one of the officers punched her in the face. After the incident, police then attempted to confiscate the video, but the veteran successfully stood his ground. Of course no investigation has begun into this abuse of police power.
