American Airlines allegedly did not permit a teenaged boy with Down Syndrome board a flight from Newark, New Jersey to Los Angeles this weekend, and his parents believe it was because of discrimination.

Erin Chase said she went to the airport on Friday night for a flight and was the subject of an aggressive pat-down by the TSA employee.
According to Chase, the employee groped her and inappropriately touched her private parts. She has filed a complaint with the TSA and is seeking to have the employee fired.

This woman (I refuse to call someone a 'girl' at 17) being charged with contempt in court for letting people know who harmed her is horrifying.

Not only is her freedom of speech being unreasonably violated to protect the privacy of her attackers, but she is also having the threat of 180 days in jail along with a 500$ fine hanging over her head. This is the perfect example of how much justice the system offers people who have been victimized.

A man currently residing in Ohio attempted to walk peacefully past TSA agents, only to be tasered and arrested under threat of a year in jail. Nevermind that he was not shown to be a threat, he disobeyed! At least this wasn't the fate that awaited a certain videographer.

Note also that the public opinion is that this guy wasted resources and caused a scare, rather than it being the TSA that is a waste and triggers massive reactions to simple misunderstandings.
