I heard the phrase on C-Span. I hadn't heard it before. They're still trying to avoid "giving" them "Constitutional rights"

In every instance, I side with the People on the street, even when unpopular, against the seemingly obvious shared enemy: any and all authority backed by force.

But when an enemy goes unidentified or more authority is offered as an answer, I'm out. And at this point, I have a few thoughts to share.

Southern Poverty Law Center reports an increase in hate groups -- specifically conspiracy-minded groups that see the federal government as their primary enemy.

A House subcommittee is set to shed new light on the problem of sexual assault in the military today, when it will hear testimony on sexual assault numbers, prevention and response as part of its ongoing investigation into the issue.

"A woman who signs up to protect her country is more likely to be raped by a fellow soldier than killed by enemy fire," said Rep. Jane Harman (D-CA), who introduced a bill this summer to increase and encourage the investigation of prosecution of sexual assault and rape cases in the military and is attending today's hearing.

Listening to FTL2013-04-02 show with Ademo Freeman, I was on Youtube and found this. I thought it would be here already and if it is please delete. I did not see it (It is relatively new). An army of cops invade a residential neighborhood and you can see well into the video when one of the cops are left with the man on the ground he starts beating him. (like the guy could of been any problem in the position he was in). It is a scary scene and wonder what would have happened if any of the cops saw the person who was filming them?

How did "our" civil servant civilian police we go from handguns and the occasional shotgun to Machine guns, Armored vehicles, and a mentality of "inflict maximum damage on the enemy" versus doing their level best to enforce laws while respecting constitutional rights?

He's the Universal Soldier and he really is to blame. Thinking soldiers/cops who weigh the moral implications of their actions before acting, would have rendered orders from Hitler, Caesar, Stalin, Mao etc meaningless...thereby dissolving tyranny.

Cops are leading the way in Puppycide. Such heroes!

A good example of one of the things that is wrong with conservatives is provided by a conservative named Rich Lowry, who has an article today about the Detroit bomber case on nationalreviewonline.com, one of the premier websites in the conservative movement.

Lowry is upset that the suspect in the Detroit bomb base, Umar Farouk Abdulmutallab, was treated as federal criminal suspect rather than an enemy combatant in the war on terrorism.
