A jury found Ed "NJWeedman" Forchion not guilty Thursday in the Rastafarian activist's marijuana distribution case.

The decision came after Forchion was nearly held in contempt of court in the morning as he delivered his closing argument.

Forchion, formerly of Pemberton Township, tried to introduce his jury nullification argument into the closing, but was quickly stopped by Superior Court Judge Charles Delehey, who had barred any discussion of it.

I've been trying to keep my politics under wraps at work because the paper where I work is quite leftist, but they found out last week just as we were getting ready to do our election endorsements. People were shocked at first, but now they are cool with it. Today they even asked me to do a blog post on what I believe and how I disagree with what we endorsed.

The comments are pure gold. Never have I seen so many statists so threatened by the ideas of non-violence and consent. Never have I seen so many people resort to the stupid "you'll grow out of it" argument against voluntaryism.

When I suggest to someone that all drugs should be legalized, 90% of the time I am told how evil drugs are and how they lead to more crime and legalizing them would instantly turn the country into a violent hell hole. Anyone with an open mind can be shown how this is absolute nonsense.

Vote this up and send a link to all of your progressive friends! Finally someone on the left is talking sense. Sections of this article are somewhat misinformed, but the crux of the argument is valid. Get this news out!
