"SALT LAKE CITY — Mounted on the side of a pair of sunglasses is what Salt Lake City Police Chief Chris Burbank says is the future of police work.

The body cameras work like dash cameras already in police cars — they they'll provide an eye-level view of an officers one on one interaction with the public. Burbank says the body cameras are the "wave of the future" when it comes to police work and transparency."

Police in Hampton are using a 26-foot portable surveillance tower to keep an eye on people at Hampton Beach.

The tower has four digital video cameras mounted on top, and the cameras can be used to zoom in to closely watch people along a wide stretch of the beach.

The cameras can be accessed by police officers either at the tower itself or remotely via laptops.

How did "our" civil servant civilian police we go from handguns and the occasional shotgun to Machine guns, Armored vehicles, and a mentality of "inflict maximum damage on the enemy" versus doing their level best to enforce laws while respecting constitutional rights?

To the police officer, they see an object containing glass, circuits, plastic, aluminum, steel, and death. And thus they get scared and conferscate your cameras and put you in a cage.

As police continue to blatantly steal and destroy cameras from citizens without any legal authority whatsoever, it is essential to store our video footage online so it can accessed regardless of what happens to our cameras.
