In 2009 People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA) put a few more notches on its belt—2,301, to be exact. That’s how many cats and dogs met their demise at the hands of this radical animal rights group last year, according to PETA’s own “Animal Record” filings with the Virginia Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services.

According to “Opt Out and Film week” organizers, the protest starts November 26 to send a message to the TSA about the violation of the right to privacy. The TSA signaled today that they are aware of the protest, and may be prohibited from filming in their location.

Breaking the Taboo is the first feature documentary by Sundog Pictures. It features interviews with past US presidents, including Bill Clinton and Jimmy Carter, who admit they got their drug policies wrong.

The film is narrated by Morgan Freeman, and the Breaking the Taboo campaign has been backed on YouTube by prominent public figures such as Richard Branson, Kate Winslet and Dizzee Rascal.

The award-winning new documentary, "Five Broken Cameras," tells the story of a Palestinian farmer who got a video camera to record his son’s childhood, but ended up documenting the growth of the resistance movement to the Israeli separation wall in the West Bank village of Bil’in. The film shows the non-violent tactics used by residents of Bil’in as they join with international and Israeli activists to protest the wall’s construction and confront Israeli soldiers. We speak with the film’s directors Emad Burnat, a Palestinian, and Guy Davidi, an Israeli.
