Brit police are warning that when cannabis plants reach the final stages of maturity the odor they release has carcinogenic properties ... Officers who deal with the plants use ventilation masks and protective suits and people who have plants in their home, especially anyone with young children, may be exposing their family to a health risk. Yep, just smelling one of those horrible cannabis plants can give you cancer!

BOSTON (AP) — The odor of burnt marijuana alone is not enough for police to suspect criminal activity and order a person to get out of a car, the state’s highest court ruled Tuesday, citing a state law that decriminalizes possession of small amounts of the narcotic.

"[Curtis] Mitchell died in February 2010 while waiting 30 hours at his... home for an ambulance during a blizzard, but Chief U.S. District Judge Gary L. Lancaster dismissed his family's lawsuit against city and county emergency services."

The judge says that regardless of whether the facts are as alleged, it's irrelevant since the Emergency Services personnel are not constitutionally obligated to actually provide emergency services.

CANNABIS CULTURE - In a case with wide-ranging implications, an Ontario Superior Court judge struck down Canada's laws prohibiting the possession and production of marijuana on Tuesday, giving the federal government 90 days to fix the country's medical marijuana program before the ruling comes into effect and effectively legalizes cannabis.

The lawsuit, which names Ramsey County, the Dakota County Drug Task Force, and the DEA, and asks for $30 million in civil rights violations and punitive damages after a wrong-door raid, also claims that the officers kicked the children and deprived one of them of her diabetes medication.
