Dear Liberty Community / Activists, I'd like/need your help. I recently wrote a letter about America being a police state which got good play on Northern California's #1 radio show. I've been contacted by them and told that if I can come up with a much larger list, they will "...post it and promote the hell out of it!"

So, I'd like to make a 101 list in the style of my original letter.

Example:
"Would America be a police state if, Government agents could write their own search warrants? They do.

Our "Dear Leader" (The United Nations), along with several former U.S. DEA agents, is urging the Obama Administration to overturn Washington State's recent law (which decriminalizes personal use of marijuana).

The U.N. says THEY have the authority do to so because the new pot law breaks international treaty agreements.

"The political system is broken partly because of Internet," Electronic Frontier Foundation co-founder John Perry Barlow said. "It's made it impossible to govern anything the size of the nation-state. We're going back to the city-state. The nation-state is ungovernably information-rich."

With all the clammer among the GOP about "WHY?" Instead of reneging on Obamacare perhaps they should look to the lunatics among their own controlling the direction of the party.

Stan Garret wrote a letter to US District Attorney John Walsh asking the government to “back away” from Colorado dispensaries that are in compliance with state and local laws. While the letter is unlikely to influence federal policy, it does demonstrate that Colorado is takings its MMJ statutes seriously.

Same-sex couples can currently marry in six states and the District of Columbia, and there's no residency requirement to marry. That means that couples who live outside of those states can just pop in for a day to get married and then go home. There are also five states that allow civil unions. But if a marriage should fall apart in a state that doesn't recognize the couple's legal status in the first place, that's when things get complicated.
