I read it the same way rancemuhamitz does

It sounded to me like he wanted to be clever by saying "yeah, I want it to stop too" then proceeding to chastise the "authorities" for being overly authoritarian. Maybe something got lost in the translation for some readers.

silly johnson

If government stopped, there would be no reason for the activism in the first place, so both would stop.

what the tangent?

wow... THAT was a misinterpretation... and weird way of looking at what I said.
Uh, so yeah... what you are saying is as obvious as it is unlikely, so it's particularly odd for you to say I'm "silly" unless you are commenting in an inebriated state.

Varrin seems to be talking about the media... Anyway...
You just went WAAAAY off into tangent land - let's stay focused on the topic here shall we?  We can talk about theories of society on the BBS - the comments here are about this article, and what Varrin was saying...

Wow, you're getting way to

Wow, you're getting way to excited about this you silly fucker! :)

I just went ahead and asked him.

hah, I actually asked Varrin (at PorcFest) anyway to clarify and be sure. He just wants the statists to stop.

I think he wants BOTH to stop

FTA "All of this generates news and opinion pieces, peppered with factual inaccuracies and slurs, that support the notion that it's good to spend tax dollars assaulting nonviolent, non-fraudulent behavior, whether it be provocative or just plain goofy.

And that's just plain goofy, or at least it should seem so to anyone who values liberty."

Seems to me like he thinks the activism is making the government more violent, and wants people to stop hitting the hornets nest.

Anyone got the text?

The Keene Sentinel wants to charge to see this. If anyone has the more information, it would be appreciated.

Read it again. He wants law

rancemuhamitz 3 years 48 weeks 5 days 20 hours ago

Read it again. He wants law enforcement to stop their antics. He does not want activism to stop.
