Interestingly, while implicitly acknowledging his kill list exists, he lies and says "as an American citizen, they are subject to the protections of the constitution and due process."

A sweeping bill overhauling the U.S. medical system goes to President Obama's desk on Monday to be signed into law. The measure, which cleared the Senate in December, constitutes the biggest expansion of federal health care guarantees since Medicare and Medicaid were enacted more than four decades ago.

U.S. District Judge Roger Vinson accepted without trial the states' argument that the new law violates people's rights by forcing them to buy health insurance by 2014 or face penalties. At issue was whether the government is reaching beyond its constitutional power to regulate interstate commerce by requiring citizens to purchase health insurance or face tax penalties.

At the beginning of the last decade, there was great excitement about the future of medicine. Advances in biotechnology, nanotechnology, diagnostics, information technology, stem cell treatments, vaccines, and organ transplants were poised to radically improve the health prospects of Americans. Looking back from 2020, we can see that most of these major biomedical advances failed to materialize. What happened? Three words: health care reform.

When President Obama wanted to push health care reform, he didn't make the same mistake as his fellow liberals made in the past. He didn't attack or ignore big business. Instead, he sought to engage these "stakeholders. "Mandating that citizens must purchase health insurance (with no public option) was obviously a financial winner for the insurance companies. That box was easily enough checked. But the White House's collusion with the pharmaceutical industry was perhaps an even more impressive gambit.
