Several Georgia House members have proposed changes to House Bill 615, which deals with the carrying of concealed weapons and the revision of the laws and provisions concerning them.

The Governor of Georgia vetoed a bill that would 'allow' citizens to carry their firearms into the 'non-sterile' areas of airports. The author of this article claims this would have made passengers more dangerous and hampered law enforcement.

Not enough to convince me that we aren't living in a police state, but I think it's worth giving this cop some credit. He allows the open-carry, he almost encourages this guy's right to record the interaction. I'm concerned that guys like this might be making all the rest look good!

Open carry is legal in WI. However, the police have other ideas.

While most folks are looking elsewhere, Congress is trying to sneak an absolutely awful "cybersecurity" bill through Congress, permitting ISPs to funnel private communications and related information back to the government without adequate privacy protections and controls. The bill does not specify which agencies ISPs could disclose customer data to, but the structure and incentives in the bill raise a very real possibility that the National Security Agency or the DOD’s Cybercommand would be the primary recipient.
