A California jury Thursday acquitted a man charged with assaulting a retired Catholic priest, in a case that prosecutors had described as a vigilante attack. William Lynch, 44, was accused of confronting the Rev. Jerold Lindner, 68, during a visit at Sacred Heart Retirement home for Jesuit priests in Los Gatos, California, where Lindner had been living since retirement in 2001. Prosecutors claimed that Lynch walked into the retirement center on May 10, 2010, under the pretense of delivering news about a relative, and attacked his former pastor.

Police arrested Miller after they say he masturbated and asked an undercover officer to touch his genitals in the men's bathroom at Claypool Court, 110 W. Washington St., at about 1:30 p.m., according to police records.

Depending if such exposure is judged to be "for the purpose of arousing or gratifying sexual desire," the woman could be charged with a felony, punishable by up to six months in prison for first-time offenders. More mundane exposure would be a misdemeanor meriting up to 30 days in jail.

Cincinnati police said they are investigating after a mother and her two children were found walking naked along a street on Monday night. When officers approached the woman, she argued with police and appeared to be distraught. She was taken to University Hospital for a psychiatric evaluation, police said.

At 70-years-young, the woman, only identified as "Bonnie," told various news outlets that there is nothing she wouldn't do to protect her family.
