A seventh grader who touched a prescription drug pill while at school has been suspended for a week because of her school's interpretation of their zero-tolerance drug policy.

According to officials at River Valley Middle School in Jeffersonville, Indiana, student Rachel Greer violated their drug policy simply by holding Adderall, an ADHD drug, that a fellow student offered to her and placed in her hand. Despite declining the pill and returning it to her classmate, Greer was in "posession" of a drug and broke the rules, according to a school official.

A drug for high-risk pregnant women has cost about $10 to $20 per injection. Next week, the price of the progesterone shot, which is administered weekly, will be $1,500 a dose. The drug known as Makena has been made cheaply for years, mixed at pharmacies that do custom-compound treatments. But recently, KV Pharmaceutical of suburban St. Louis won government approval to sell the drug exclusively.

The FDA has effectively banned a naturally-occurring form of vitamin B6 called pyridoxamine by declaring it to be a drug, reports the American Association for Health Freedom. Responding to a petition filed by a drug company, the FDA declared pyridoxamine to be “a new drug.”

Christopher Dennis Dollar came into the police station lobby and handed the pill to an officer, according to a news release from the DeFuniak Springs Police Department. He told the officer that he needed to be arrested for possession of Xanax without a prescription. Dollars was charged with a third-degree felony for possession of drugs without a prescription.

The tv station edited the story to suit their drug war propagandist agenda, and ran a constant promos about his "drug problem". It apparently ended in an intervention from his family! All for taking one pill!
