A NY woman claims cops beat her badly when she tried to tell them that the dog poop they forced her to clean up was not her dog’s. Ann Stanczyk, a Polish immigrant, says she was walking her terrier, Psotka (Polish for “prankster”), when she was approached by two officers from the 100th Precinct.

I enjoy a good game of "Cops and Speeders" as much as the next scofflaw. It makes driving much more interesting, and I believe actually safer due to enhanced situational awareness. But these cops don't play the game correctly. The object of the game (by "my rules" anyway) is to beat "The Man". Lacking that ticket / beat-down risk factor, apparently these cops just up the speed.

LAPD pull over this 34 year old registered nurse and mother for talking on her cell phone and then proceed to body slam her on the ground twice. Once while she was handcuffed. These two beacons of the community then share a celebratory fist bump after they stuff their victim into the back of the squad car.
