Many times liberty activists handing out information for the Fully Informed Jury Association have been told that they can’t film on federal property by the US Marshals and other law enforcement officers at the US District courthouse in lower Manhattan, New York City. Things sure are different when they want the public to see a juicy criminal coming or going.

This time it started out differently. Adam Mueller and Pete Eyre from Liberty on Tour were there with Antonio Musumeci (otherwise known as "Bile" for his blog, Blog of Bile) and, of course, Julian Heicklen.

At the end of their week in Philadelphia Liberty on Tour's Adam Mueller and Pete Eyre joined local activists to do Fully Informed Jury Association outreach.

Jury nullification, a legal concept that dates back to 17th century England, remains perfectly lawful in the United States, according to a ruling by a federal judge last month.
U.S. District Court Judge Kimba Wood said 80-year-old Julian Heicklin, who was arrested by FBI agents for passing out pamphlets marked "Jury Info" from an organization known as the Fully Informed Jury Association to an undercover agent, was within his legal rights under law to do so. Prosecutors had argued that Heicklin was in violation of U.S. law, which prohibits influencing jurors through written communication.

The hearing started at 10:30am in Allentown, PA. Attending the hearing were George's wife, his son, and myself. He was represented by Paul Hetznecker, the attorney that won the acquittal of the protesters arrested at the Army Experience Center at the Franklin Mills Mall in Philadelphia, PA. Things went well with the judge describing the charges that he is now facing as "petty offenses".

Julian Heicklen is a man I admire in a way that my mastery of the English language fails to find words for. Julian was a dedicated activist, whose focus was on fully informed juries. Julian stood near courthouses and distributed literature explaining to juries their right to nullify bad laws, and free victims of uncontrolled government. He has been arrested for this "crime" in at least 5 states, at least 11 times in Manhattan alone.

Just noticed that George Donnelly has been kidnapped by the feds while doing fija activism that he has been doing in Pa. Apparently he was gang tackled to get his camera away from him. Just horrific.
