An investigation has been launched inside the Houston Police Department over a sergeant's comments as his officers were setting out to patrol this year's Gay Pride Parade in the Montrose area. ARVADA, Colo. -- Two Arvada police officers have been placed on paid administrative leave pending the outcome of an internal investigation looking into allegations of inappropriate conduct by members of the department.

A total of five Arvada police officers have resigned: three related to the incidents under investigation and two others related to separate internal personnel matters.
