Libertarian Party Chairman Mark Hinkle calls for marketizing the current government-controlled, government-run U.S. immigration system.

"Why pay taxes?" asked Fred Phillips, who owes more than $2,600 on his home on an east-side block where five owners paid 2011 taxes. "Why should I send them taxes when they aren't supplying services? It is sickening. … Every time I see the tax bill come, I think about the times we called and nobody came."

Public policies have allowed irresponsible behavior for decades involving the transfer of wealth not yet earned from future to past generations. We might be called Gen X, Y, or Z... but really we are Generation Slave.

A while ago I had a conversation with a friend of mine who had recently graduated from college. He was, coincidently, a Socialist who was espousing the virtues of public schools and Socialized Medicine. He was, however, unwilling to admit that those things were paid for through the threat of violence from the state. If I do not pay my taxes, I explained to him, then I will be arrested. If I do not want to be arrested and I choose to defend myself I will likely be shot and killed.

Proof Of A U.S. Police State

America has fast descended into a police state. The trouble is that we want to believe in the rule of law and the system that alleges to support and enforce it. But when reality collides with illusion, it is too late. No matter how bad things seem, we always think that times will get better and that government will do the right thing.

Quick little example about the effects of taxes on the free market model. Taxes suck!

I can't blame someone for avoiding taxes, unless they are a blatant statist who encourages new taxes at every opportunity. This is hypocrisy to a T.
