For the first time, dashcam video of the Seattle Police executing an innocent man has been released.

The shuffling, harmless, homeless woodcarver had less than seven seconds from first contact to his body being riddled with bullets.

And then the cop-murderer lied to his superiors about the knife being open (it was closed) and the man threatening him (he wasn't even facing the cop). The man, John T. Williams, was also half-deaf and his whittling knife was of a legal size.

The Prosecutor's Office is expected to announce the decision in a news conference on Wednesday, the sources say.

The City of Seattle will pay $1.5 million to the heirs and estate of John T. Williams, a Seattle woodcarver shot dead by a Seattle Police in August 2010. It was an emotionally-charged police shooting that say a law enforcement office quit and avoid prosecution. The review commission found the shooting "unjustified," reports the Sun.

A man was fatally shot by police in downtown Seattle on Monday afternoon, according to police.

The shooting occurred on the northwest corner of Boren Ave. and E. Howell St. at approximately 4:15 p.m.

Police said an officer was on patrol when he spotted a man sitting on the sidewalk, whittling, and approached him.

The officer told the man to drop the knife several times, police said, but instead of doing so, he stood up. When the man refused to heed to his commands, the officer opened fire and hit the man.

Caddo Parish District 3 Commissioner Michael Williams said after seeing a group of young men at a local Walmart wearing pajama pants that revealed one young man's private parts, he decided to push for an ordinance that would prohibit wearing pajama pants in public. "Pajamas are designed to be worn in the bedroom at night," Williams said. "If you can't (wear pajamas) at the Boardwalk or courthouse, why are you going to do it in a restaurant or in public? Today it's pajamas," Williams said. "Tomorrow it's underwear. Where does it stop?"

William Williams, 76, of Cecil, vows to continue removing the guy wire and its anchor in his yard each time the power company replaces them. For Mr. Williams, it’s all a matter of civil disobedience. He said he refuses to surrender his property rights to the utilities.
