I've been trying to keep my politics under wraps at work because the paper where I work is quite leftist, but they found out last week just as we were getting ready to do our election endorsements. People were shocked at first, but now they are cool with it. Today they even asked me to do a blog post on what I believe and how I disagree with what we endorsed.
The comments are pure gold. Never have I seen so many statists so threatened by the ideas of non-violence and consent. Never have I seen so many people resort to the stupid "you'll grow out of it" argument against voluntaryism.
