Comedian, songwriter and performer Steve Berke has hit a home run with his music parody of the mega-popular Eminem and Rihanna video ‘Love the Way You Lie’ turning it into a funny and biting social commentary with his spot-on ‘Should Be Legalized’!

With less than two weeks before California voters go to the polls to decide whether or not to legalize cannabis, Steve Berke’s Weird Al Yankovic-inspired song parody is going to become very popular—and fast—on the Internet.

We have a thriving music scene here in Lancaster, and many of the stickers are promotional pieces for rock and rap musicians.... some underground political stuff as well. I wonder if an "anti-sticker" ordinance would also apply to political campaign stickers of the mayor or party involved in trying to push this through? Just sayin'.....

As has been widely reported, an official Romney campaign ad that showed President Obama singing a line from the Al Green song "Let's Stay Together" has been hit with a takedown from BMG Rights Management — the group that controls the publishing rights of the original song — and pulled from YouTube. The takedown is an obvious abuse of the DMCA process: the ad was a clear fair use and therefore noninfringing. But the unfortunate real story here is that this kind of takedown abuse is all too common, and we're likely to see it again this campaign season.

Corporate Political Spending Report Could Signal New Trend

The Center for Political Accountability analyzed a study this month revealing a slight decrease in shareholder support for greater transparency regarding corporate political spending. Though support remains just below the all time high of 35 percent, the slight trend reversal could signal a shift in the near decade-long trend.

This should make things very clear and obvious for everyone. Candidates won't even fill out a basic, non-partisan questionnaire that asks about their positions on political issues. Some of the responses in this video are very eye opening.

DURHAM, NH – A New Hampshire town is asking the Obama campaign to foot the up to $30,000 bill for the president's upcoming campaign stop in their city. "Community leaders do not believe that costs associated with the campaign should be borne by local taxpayers," the release says according to MyFoxBoston.

City officials say they usually would foot the bill for a presidential visit, but since this is a campaign stop they believe the
Obama campaign should have to pay for the extra security.
