They arrested a total of 2,388 people, including 171 people on charges of felony drug possession and 782 for misdemeanor drug possession.

Having been to Camp Zoe and Schwagstock events on several occasions, let me just say that they are the most peaceful gatherings of freedom loving people come together to celebrate life, music, and nature. If "drugs" are involved, however, no amount of peace is too great to prevent the DEA and other governmental from storming in with guns and dogs to terrorize and, oh yeah, seize the 352 acres of land where all this peace is happening on... makes me sick.

the Corpus Christi Caller Times reported the former District Attorney of Jim Wells and Brooks Counties in Texas has been charged with going on a $4.2 million dollar drug search and seizure forfeiture spending spree in seven years. Former District Attorney Joe Frank Garza, 68, was indicted by a special grand jury facing one charge of misapplication of fiduciary property in excess of $200,000. Part of the evidence, Garza paid three of his secretaries over $1 million in bonus search and seizure cash salaries in a five year period. Secretaries whose salaries were “typically $29,000″ a year.

For the last five years, Missouri Citizens for Property Rights has been trying to bring to the people a vote concerning the abuse of eminent domain. The Missouri Court of Appeals ruled that the phrase "and that landowners receive just compensation" in a summary statement for the amendment be removed because, in part, it already was in the Missouri Constitution.

Campsites numbers 15 and 16 were mowed and are situated across a dirt roadway from each other. Tracks from a truck and a passenger car were still visible in the sand at one of the sites Saturday.

DNR officials said they aren't sure whether someone just really wanted to camp at the campground or if whoever re-opened the campground was attempting to make a statement about the DNR's plan announced in April to close 23 more of the rustic state forest campgrounds.

Either way, DNR law enforcement officers want to talk to the perpetrator.

Cops & CPS Seize Child From Parents For Mistrusting Government

A family in Williamson County, Austin have lost custody of their 7-year-old son as part of a Child Protective Services investigation because the parents taught their children to mistrust the government, an action that deemed them to be “unsuitable parents,” according to charges leveled by police officers in CPS documents.

Authorities in Tempe, Arizona, dismantled a drug trafficking cell associated with Mexico's Sinaloa Cartel, arresting 20 people and seizing three tons of marijuana, 30 pounds of methamphetamine and $2.4 million in cash, police said. A six-month investigation by Tempe police and the U.S. Drug Enforcement Agency also concluded with the seizure of an airplane, 10 vehicles and 14 firearms, police said Friday.
