A pervy Miami-Dade cop enjoyed pulling women over just to get a look at their breasts. He had made several stops without probable clause or reasonable suspicion. The stops would last far beyond what was necessary.
A Provo cop is accused of groping a woman after saying he would arrest her if she did not show him her breasts. He conducted field sobriety tests on the woman, who “wasn’t performing well,” witnesses said. Westerman tried to handcuff her, but he couldn’t because of a splint on her arm. Instead, the woman said he searched her car and began “swearing and yelling at her,” jail documents state.
Arbitrary violence is nothing new. The apparently systematic use of sexual assault against women protestors is new. I’m not aware of any reports of police intentionally grabbing women’s breasts before March 17, but on March 17 there were numerous reported cases, and in later nightly evictions from Union Square, the practice became so systematic that at least one woman told me her breasts were grabbed by five different police officers on a single night
What do you do if you're an off duty cop and the pregnant woman in front of you has too many items at the express lane in Walmart? You pull a gun of course. Then arrest the husband. And then get away with it.
