BERLIN — WikiLeaks has lost a major source of revenue after the online payment service provider PayPal cut off its account used to collect donations, saying the website is engaged in illegal activity.

'Anonymous' hackers flexed their muscle again Wednesday, orchestrating a successful denial of service attack against Visa, the largest credit card provider in the world.

David Maurice House, 23, was met by U.S. customs agents as he deplaned at Chicago’s O’Hare Airport last Wednesday, according to a report by Salon.com. The agents searched House’s bags, then took him to a detention room and questioned him for 90 minutes about his relationship to 23-year-old Manning, the former Army intelligence officer accused of leaking classified documents to the secret-spilling site WikiLeaks.

During his visit to the the Swedish capital Stockholm, Wikileaks spokesman Julian Assange has struck a deal with the local Pirate Party. The party, which participates in the national elections next month, will host several new Wikileaks servers to protect freedom of press and help the whistleblower site to carry out its operation.

"Sen. Joe Lieberman (I-CT) is leading the charge to outlaw WikiLeaks. First he successfully pressured Amazon.com to stop hosting the WikiLeaks website and now, as Julian Assange has been arrested in the UK, he's introduced a new bill changing the law to make WikiLeaks illegal. BERLIN — The online whistle-blower WikiLeaks said it will continue to publish more secret files from governments around the world despite U.S. demands to cancel plans to release classified military documents.

"I can assure you that we will keep publishing documents – that's what we do," a WikiLeaks spokesman, who says he goes by the name Daniel Schmitt in order to protect his identity, told The Associated Press in an interview Saturday.
